Soft Wash Methods for Different House Materials in Vancouver WA
Not all siding is the same, so the soft wash approach shouldn’t be either.

At ProSoaks we adjust our methods based on your specific siding material to get the best results without causing damage.
Vinyl Siding: Very forgiving. We use standard low-pressure soft wash. Excellent for removing black streaks and algae.
Painted Wood: More delicate. We use gentler solutions and lower concentrations to protect the paint.
Brick and Stone: We can use slightly stronger mixes because brick handles them well, but we still rinse thoroughly.
Fiber Cement: Similar to vinyl but we watch pressure carefully.
Stucco: Requires extra care around texture to avoid uneven cleaning.

Real Example
A customer in Orchards had a mix of vinyl and painted wood. We adjusted our mix and pressure for each section. The house looked uniform and clean without damaging the painted areas.
We never use a one-size-fits-all approach. That’s why we do free on-site assessments.
